Are You a High School Student?
You're Invited to Join Youth Ministry!
What do you think of when someone brings up Church? Is it boring? Old and outdated? Something my parents and grandparents are into? A place with a lot of rules?
Did you know that the Church is a place that is exciting, relevant, alive, welcoming, and freeing?
At St. Ignatius Loyola Youth Ministry (SILYM), high school students from many different schools and backgrounds come to hang out, play games, and discuss all aspects of the faith, from who Jesus is to why He gave us the gift of His Catholic Church. SILYM is a place to:
-
Kick back, relax, and just be yourself
-
Hang out with and get to know like-minded teens
-
Ask real questions and get real answers
-
Get to know Jesus and His Church in ways you never thought possible
If you have ever had questions about the Catholic faith or maybe feel like you’re not sure the Church is right for you, I invite you to come out and join us for a Youth Night!
Youth Ministry Nights are held on Sundays from 6:30-8:30pm in the John Paul II room at St. Ignatius Loyola Church. No sign-ups or registration are necessary – just come out and see what it’s all about!
If you have any questions or if you’d like to speak to someone about youth ministry, please contact the Director of Youth Ministry, Tim Wood.
