PREP
at St. Ignatius

PREP is a faith-formation ministry that helps children, youth, and families grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ and the Church. Rooted in the mission of the parish, the program seeks to educate, serve, and build community.

Through education, participants learn the teachings of the Catholic faith, Sacred Scripture, prayer, and the Sacraments in an age-appropriate and engaging way. The program supports families as the primary educators of faith while providing structured catechesis grounded in Church tradition.

Through service, learners are encouraged to live out the Gospel by practicing compassion, justice, and love of neighbor. Service opportunities help participants connect faith to action, fostering a sense of responsibility to others and the wider world.

By building community, the program creates a welcoming environment where individuals and families form meaningful relationships within the parish. Shared prayer, learning, and service strengthen bonds among participants and deepen their sense of belonging to the Body of Christ.

Together, these elements nurture lifelong disciples who know their faith, live it through service, and remain connected to the parish community.
