Rev. Msgr. James A. Treston
Pastor

Monsignor Treston was born and raised in West Chester, PA.  He studied at St. Charles
Borromeo Seminary and was ordained a priest for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia on May 14,
1960.  In 1961, he began serving in the newly established Diocese of Allentown as associate
pastor at St. Peter's Church in Reading.  Monsignor's associate pastor assignments have taken
him to Our Lady Help of Christians, Allentown, Central Catholic High School, Allentown, St.
Patrick, Pottsville, and Cathedral of St. Catharine of Siena, Allentown.  In 1975, he was named
Pastor of St. Canicus Church, Mahony City.  Monsignor Treston became the fourth Pastor at St.
Ignatius Loyola Parish in 1983.
